ABOUT ME

Welcome to my gastronomic world

I am Igor Labastida, a chef with 13 years of experience in the kitchen and a story that combines two passions: gastronomy and law. Although my career began in the legal field, with a degree in Law, my heart was always in the kitchen. When I was young, my father, a renowned teacher of Law, did not allow me to study gastronomy, and I followed his path. However, after his departure, I decided to follow my true calling and immerse myself fully in the study of gastronomy. It was at that moment that I found my true fulfillment.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places, both in Mexico and abroad, which has deeply enriched my culinary style. I have worked with and learned from the culinary cultures of destinations such as Huatulco, Tulum, Riviera Nayarit, the Costa Nayarita, Puerto Vallarta, Punta de Mita, Playa del Carmen, Mexico City, and the State of Mexico. In addition, I have explored flavors and traditions in countries such as Jamaica and Panama. Each of these places has left a mark on my cuisine, allowing me to fuse flavors and techniques from different regions to offer you authentic dishes, full of history and creativity.

A key aspect of my culinary training has been my deep

knowledge of French cuisine, acquired from my mentor,

Chef Jean Claude Krajic, who taught me the basics of this tradition

culinary. Since then, I have worked closely with chefs

French, which has cultivated and strengthened my taste and respect

for the French cuisine. This influence is reflected in the precision,

care and the elegance that I apply to each of my dishes.

Today, my passion for flavors and culinary creativity has led me

to be recognized by many of my clients as "the wizard of flavors."

Every dish I prepare is a work of art, created with dedication, love

and the deep respect for the ingredients. My goal is to offer you a unique

and memorable experience through the senses
